I am trying out both Blogger.com and WordPress to see which one I like better. I have used WordPress for my LIS5313 class and have enjoyed it, but I also like the ease of use with Blogger.com. I do like that WordPress allows for pages, which is so nice because I’d like to be able to organize my postings into different pages/subjects rather than have them all run together (which is what I have going on through Blogger.com).

What I am doing is a little repetitive, but in doing so, I am able to see the differences through actually trying them out. Thus, while this seems quite repetitive, it is a good learning experience for me.

Yep, I am adding one more blog to the 50 million that are already out there. This blog will be more for my own documentation of adventures through graduate school at Florida State University. I am trying to earn an MLIS as I hope to become a librarian some day. (As for whether I want to work in an academic library or a public library — or perhaps do some sort of special library work — remains to be figured out. Hopefully my adventures through Library School and volunteering at the Corvallis Public Library will lead me to the direction of enlightenment.
