The Internet Public Library turns 15 years old in March! Celebrate by taking part in the IPL’s “15 Things” challenge – try out the IPL’s fifteen favorite online technologies: blogs, microblogging, wikis, social networking, virtual worlds, podcasting, videos, forums and web boards, RSS, document sharing, social tagging, reading, awareness tools, text messaging and images/photos.

For each technology, the IPL will provide background information, links to readings, information on how the IPL is using the technology and a space to try out and practice the technology for yourself. Each week the IPL will update the featured technology on their website. For those that try out and complete the IPL 15 Things challenge by April 17, 2010, their name will be put into a drawing for a $50 Amazon.com giftcard. Boo-yeah!
