Thanks for the recommendation. I tried it out - hummed a tune to Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" and I got Akon instead. You can hum or sing the song, type the lyrics, or even use the program to capture the name of the song played on the radio. And they have an iPod app. I've tested it out, and it works fairly well.
