Hi Apryl! It was a great experience - I really enjoyed it. I helped develop a web 2.0 collection which will be added sometime in the near future. I also served as a Reference Administrator, answered questions and helped put together a 'best answers' board (based on old bounced questions) in the IPL learning community wiki. Students can check it out to see examples of good answers to IPL questions.

Which internship did you get with the IPL? Is it with Digital Reference Service or Collection Development? If you're interested in learning more, the IPL has a page with information about what each intern did for 2009. I'll send you an email with more information and feel free to contact me if you have detailed questions. Congratulations on your internship!

How was your internship experience? I have been offered one for this semester (fall 2009) and would be interested to hear about your experience. Thanks!
