LIS 5313: My Podcast
For one of our media projects, we had to create a podcast. It was much easier than I thought it would be. Download the free Audacity software, find some tunes from CCMixter, and use Audacity to record voice, cut and mix the music and sounds, and ta-da! You have a podcast.
The deets:
All Things Oregonian is my podcast about the state of Oregon. I envisioned it to be a traveling podcast where the “left-coast” host (yours truly) travels to different hot-spots in the state. In this episode, I am at a local coffee shop taking in the sights and sounds while answering an email from an interested listener who wants to know if it’s true that it rains all the time out here.
(I didn’t have more time to answer the question in my podcast so if you want to know the answer… well, we do have a rainy season – we like to refer to it as a misty season – but it doesn’t always rain here. In fact, the state of Florida gets more inches of rain per year than Oregon. It’s the truth!)
